John and Yoko鈥檚 acorns for peace go on display 50 years after being stolen

Two acorns which were apparently planted by John Lennon and Yoko Ono have gone on display in Liverpool's Beatles Museum in Mathew Street after being seized from a drunk driver who claimed he had stolen them.

They're said to have been planted in the grounds of Coventry Cathedral by the couple at the start of their campaign for peace.

They'd spent more than half a century in a cardboard box in a police station in the Midlands and later at the home of a retired police officer who posted them to the museum when he was sorting out his possessions.

Roag Best from the Museum shared the story with Tony Snell
