Ex-Brookside star brings Mersey Ferry back to life
The Royal Daffodil took passengers across the River Mersey, from Liverpool and Wirral and back again for six decades.
More than 10 years since it was decommissioned and fell into disrepair, plans for a redesign of the vessel are ready to roll.
Under the plans the Royal Daffodil will be anchored at Liverpool's Canning Dock and become a floating bar and restaurant with part of the bridge deck also hosting a heritage museum.
The project is being fronted by directors Josh Boyd and Philip Borg-Olivier, the former Brookside actor who played Tim 'Tinhead' O'Leary.
