Victoria Park: Plans for bigger events met with anger
Victoria Park in east London is set to have its event capacities increased. Tower Hamlets Council has approved a decision to allow Victoria Park's medium and large events to increase in size. While major events - like music festival All Points East - which remain capped at 50,000 people, will be held more frequently from 10 to 12 such events each year, the council said.
But local residents are concerned about the changes and what it means for the area.
