Great Yarmouth man fears being forced out of home
³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖowners in an area of Great Yarmouth earmarked for regeneration say they risk being forced from their homes - and "priced out of the market". The borough council wants to regenerate North Quay - close to Asda and the railway station - and were last year given £20 million from the government's Levelling Up fund to prepare the site. Some homeowners, like 83-year-old Cyril Smith, have been given what's called a 'Voluntary Purchase of Property Offer', which, if not accepted, becomes a compulsory purchase order meaning they must move out. Cyril tells Andy Trigg more.
