Sir Tim Rice in Leicester to see Evita
As the musical Evita plays to delighted audiences at Leicester's Curve theatre, the man who wrote the show's lyrics - Sir Tim Rice - has been to see the show for himself.
Leicester's production hit the headlines over the weekend when a replacement for the lead role had to race to Leicester in time for Saturday evening's performance. Jessica Daley drove the 150 miles from her home in Middlesbrough to star as Eva Peron after the original actor and understudy both fell ill.
Against the backdrop of an enthusiastic rehearsal by the brass section, Sir Tim Rice told us what brought him to Leicester.
