Dad meets the man who killed his son in M58 crash
A man who lost his teenage son in a motorway crash five years ago says meeting the man who killed him has helped him to come to terms with his loss.
14 year old Joe Cairns was on his way to Pontville School in Ormskirk, when the tragedy happened on the M58 near Skelmersdale.
Support worker, Anne Kerr from Southport, also died.
The lorry driver, who ploughed into their minibus, was on his phone at the time, and was later jailed.
Joe's dad, Andy O'Dell, has been speaking about that day, and the struggles he has around the anniversary each year.
