Why we're being urged to avoid Tower Bridge this NYE
People looking for a free glimpse of London's New Year's Eve fireworks have been urged to stay away from Tower Bridge to avoid a "non-existent" view.
The landmark and neighbouring London Bridge have previously become congested with people trying to watch the display.
Giles Shilson, of City Bridge Foundation, said: "The bend in the river and tall buildings in the way mean you can't see the fireworks.
"You'll only be disappointed."
