'The students are buzzing to be part of this'
An inspirational head teacher from Leicester is among a handful of educators from across the country who've been honoured in a new photography exhibition.
Farhan Adam, took over the helm at Crown Hills Community College in 2017. He was featured after being recognised for the impressive contributions he has made for his students and the wider school community.
The inner-city school has committed to supporting its pupils far beyond the national curriculum and became a double Silver Winner at the Pearson National Teaching Awards this year.
Farhan's photograph is part of the exhibition called ‘The Gallery of Greats’ which was created by the charity The Teaching Awards Trust to celebrate its 25th anniversary. Farhan is showcased with four of his students, with the school’s motto seen in the background.
Farhan tells Letitia George his and his students reaction at being selected to be a part of the exhibition.
