Once again, Leicester's playing host to the biggest Diwali celebrations outside of India.

Events will be taking place across the City's Golden Mile for the Hindu Festival of Light, where thousands of people from across the Country will head on Sunday to celebrate with friends and family.

This year the city council has been working with Inspirate to bring new and exciting elements to the traditional event format. Parmjit Sagoo from the arts company has told us she can't wait for the festivities.
