Australia men鈥檚 head coach Graham Arnold says the country鈥檚 leaders 鈥渄on鈥檛 want to listen鈥� on ways to progress football in Australia, despite the success of the country鈥檚 national football teams.

The Matildas鈥� finished fourth 鈥� their highest-ever World Cup finish 鈥� at the 2023 Women鈥檚 World Cup, co-hosted in Australia, nine months after The Socceroos reached the last-16 for only the second time in the history of the Men鈥檚 World Cup.

Arnold tells Sportsworld鈥檚 Mani Djazmi why he doesn鈥檛 think the teams鈥� successes will lead to change in Australia despite the 鈥渉ope鈥� of the nation.

The Socceroos coach also reveals why he鈥檚 鈥渘ot surprised鈥� by the start fellow Australian Ange Postecoglou has made as Tottenham Hotspur manager, and also talks about the impact of family.
