Leicester's oldest sari shop 'Milans' to close
The owner of Leicester's oldest sari shop says he's closing down his business to spend more time working on the foundation set up in his sons name.
'Milans' first opened on Belgrave Road in the 1960s to bridge a gap in the market for newcomers from India and Pakistan. Now, after 50 years, the family has decided to call it a day.
Instead, owner Kishor Chauhan intends to concentrate on the foundation set up in the name of his son Rakesh, who died during the conflict in Afghanistan in 2014.
Kishor has been talking about his decision to close to Ady Dayman.
