Earlier this year the trial of a legal e-scooter hire scheme in Redditch was abandoned, after the company running it decided to pull out.

But it seems many people are now riding around - illegally - on their own.

Despite being hailed as a great way to get people out of their cars, there are concerns about their safety - not just the people riding them - but other people on the roads and pedestrians.
