French artist JR premieres film of prison art project 'Tehachapi' at Telluride Film Festival
French artist JR is famous for his large black and white images that overtake public spaces .. but at the recent Telluride Film Festival he was celebrating the world premiere of his film, 'Tehachapi.'
It's the chronicle of an art project he did with the inmates of a maximum security prison in California.
Through an app, people can also hear short stories and view photos of the men involved.
