Proms Unmissable Moments Mix

Katie Derham presents highlights from the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Proms 2023, from Rachmaninov to Rufus Wainwright, Bollywood to the Boston Symphony Orchestra.

Over eight weeks every summer, the Royal Albert Hall and venues around the country play host to the world’s largest classical music festival – the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Proms. And what a summer of glorious music-making it’s been this year!

Katie Derham presents this mix of unmissable Proms moments as broadcast on ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio 3, featuring everything from iconic pieces by Vivaldi, Elgar, and Rachmaninov, to the music of Bollywood, Northern Soul, and The Lord of the Rings. There are extraordinary performances by artists including Yuja Wang, Pekka Kuusisto and Chineke! Orchestra, a unique collaboration between Rufus Wainwright and the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Concert Orchestra, and so much more.
