The vast landscape of the Cairngorms attracts thousands each year. Coinneach Rankin sets out on a multi-day expedition to learn why its vast mountains are a paradise for climbers, runners and so many others.

Along with his partner, Coinneach races up one of the highest mountains in Scotland, undertakes a classic multi-pitch climb, and spends the night in a tiny bothy built in the 1960s.
