Thousands of teachers in South Korea have stayed away from work to attend another mass rally on Monday, honouring colleagues who've taken their own lives.

They are demanding better protection against bullying by the parents of pupils. The gathering was originally called for a young teacher who killed herself in July after suffering repeated harassment, phone calls and complaints.

Two more suicides of teachers were reported last week.
