'He was more paralysed than I was'
Marc Buoniconti discusses the tackle which caused him to be paralysed and the effect it had on Herman Jacobs, the player who collided with Buoniconti.
The then 19-year-old son of future NFL hall of famer Nick Buoniconti was all set to carve out his own American football career when he suffered a spinal chord injury whilst playing at college; in that moment his life changed forever.
Speaking with Sporthour's Shari Vahl, Buoniconti discusses his life long friendship with Herman Jacobs, who he attempted to tackle and explains that Jacobs has suffered more than him.
