Leicester Dad uses the power of 'Marvel' to teach his kids about faith.
A Leicester Dad and dancer is using the power of 'Marvel' to teach his kids about faith.
Subhash Viman Gorania is behind an exhibition which he created using his skills in sculpture, pop art, film and animation based around the idea of heroes as deities. It's called 'Marvel at My World' and is currently showing at the Leicester Gallery before it goes on tour of the UK.
The idea of the exhibition was inspired after Subhash tried to teach his 5 year old son about Hinduism. Teaching his son in the traditional sense didn't seem to spark much enthusism as his son was more into superhero stories.
Subhash explains to Summaya Mughal how the project revived his interest in illustration and art despite already enjoying a successful career as a dancer.
NB: The exhibition is at the Leicester Gallery, Vijay Patel Building, De Montfort University, Mill Lane, Leicester until 26th August.
