‘This is going to be the biggest sporting event New Zealand has ever seen’
The hospitality industry in Australia and New Zealand is gearing up to host the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Nigel Cottle is the owner of a café in Auckland, New Zealand. It’s about a five-minute walk from the national stadium Eden Park, which will be hosting the opening ceremony of the Women's World Cup.
Nigel told Business Daily that he doesn't know what sort of demographic to expect from the fans - but he is anticipating a 20-30% bump overall in revenue over the four-week period of the Women's World Cup.
