After the introduction of Hong Kong's draconian national security law a few years ago, some of the most prominent territory's pro-democracy activists have long since fled abroad.

Today, they discovered a new target on their backs - the offer of a one hundred and thirty thousand dollar reward for information leading to their arrest.

The bounty's been put up by the police in Hong Kong for eight of the exiles, accused of colluding with foreign forces and endangering national security.

Among the group is Anna Kwok, who took part in the 2019 protests, and is now the Executive Director of the Hong Kong Democracy Council, a non profit organisation for the pro democracy movement. She's been speaking to Newshour's Razia Iqbal.
