Aaron Kent talks poetry: "We don鈥檛 open access wide enough to low socio-economic status people"
Influenced by working class poets, the poet Aaron Kent says it鈥檚 important to indicate to the working class they can do it too.
鈥淲e don鈥檛 open that access wide enough to low socio economic status people.
Growing up I couldn鈥檛 afford to get books out and read poetry and have the time when I was working. I went into full time work when I was 17.鈥
He then spoke about how his writing changed after he had a brain haemorrhage.
