Nearly seven years after Speedway at Brandon came to an end, a meeting later this week will see the future of the site being looked at by a government planning inspector. It's after the owners of the Brandon Stadium lodged an appeal against Rugby Borough Council's decision to refuse planning permission to build 124 homes, a football pitch and club house.
