Swinford Wind Farm is an 11 turbine onshore wind project located in Leicestershire.

It powers the equivalent of 16,500 homes, and since its launch 10 years ago it has enriched the eight parishes that make up the local community in some surprising ways.

This weekend local people will come together at South Kilworth village hall in Lutterworth for a celebration the benefits of having a wind farm in their community have brought them.

Reporter Sara Palmer has been to meet some of the people involved in the project.
