Worshippers shot dead at Tunisia synagogue
Two Jewish pilgrims have been killed by a security guard at an historic synagogue in Tunisia. The assailant - who was himself killed - also shot dead two others guarding the synagogue. The victims were killed as they were participating in the annual pilgrimage by Jews from around the world to the Ghriba synagogue. Thousands of people were taking part in the annual pilgrimage, which was drawing to a close on Tuesday night. Dr Daniel Lee from Queen Mary University in London has visited and studied the community in Djerba.
