James Corden's producer: 'We thought we'd be cancelled after six months'
James Corden has signed off as the star of the Late, Late Show - an unlikely hit over the past eight years for the British host.
Perhaps its defining break-out success was the strand called Carpool Karaoke, featuring guests such as Michelle Obama, Lady Gaga, and Stevie Wonder, singing their greatest hits as James Corden sings along.
Tim Franks has been speaking to the Late, Late Show's executive producer, and long time Corden friend, Ben Winston, who told him they weren't originally optimistic about how long they'd last.
