'Close' to the Oscars? Lukas Dhont on his Best International Film nomination
He's only 31 - but Belgian filmmaker Lukas Dhont is emerging as a force of European cinema.
His film 'Close', about a friendship between two adolescent boys, has an Oscar nomination in the Best International Feature Film category - his previous film, 'Girl', about a transgender ballerina, was a winner at the Cannes Film Festival in 2018.
With just days to go before the Academy Awards, Tom Brook went to meet Lukas Dhont in New York while he was en route to Hollywood.
