Iran: ‘The threats I was receiving were very difficult to cope with’
How do you report on a major international story in a country from which you are banned - and while enduring significant pressure on you and your family?
This is the reality for journalists working in the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ News Persian team in London. The ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ is banned from Iran, but staff at ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Persian have been reporting on the recent anti-government protests despite daily harassment and persecution of their families back home.
Razia Iqbal has been speaking to three ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Persian colleagues: Rana Rahimpour, Farnaz Ghazizadeh, and Jiyar Gol. What have the past few months been like for them?
