Lucy's perfect pitch to the Dragons' Den
Lucy is 28 years old, a cancer survivor and now the founder of Tabuu - a business that sells stylish pill cases with the aim of removing the stigma around taking medication.
Lucy Rout has become the first and only entrepreneur ever to be offered a full-time job by a Dragon, as well as bagging three investment offers! Not bad.
Her business creates little pill cases which was inspired by Lucy鈥檚 diagnosis of cancer when she was just 25. She had to have her digestive system reconstructed and now has to take medication with every meal. Lucy was fed up of feeling awkward getting her pills out, and people asking her invasive questions about it, so wanted to break the stigma.
