Leicestershire's Wombles collect their 100,000th bag
The South Leicestershire Litter Wombles have hit a milestone moment as they celebrate the collection of their 100,000th bag of litter.
The group were invited to Parliament to mark the occasion.
The group formed in 2019, to dedicate their time to make sure our county is clean and tidy and are regularly spotted on local verges scooping up discarded rubbish.
Founder Bob Lee told Shruti it's an achievement that causes mixed emotions.
