Harry and Meghan: How great is public interest in US?

An LA Times entertainment reporter explains public feeling towards the couple in the US.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex - Harry and Meghan - have been giving new details about the breakdown of their relationship with the British Royal Family.聽

In the latest episodes of their streaming series, Harry talks about hearing his brother Prince William screaming and shouting during a meeting to discuss their future role.聽

Meghan speaks about feeling suicidal and how she wasn't allowed to get help.聽

There's been no comment so far from Buckingham Palace.聽

Meredith Blake, an entertainment reporter for the LA Times, spoke to Newshour about how great public interest in the United States is:

"There's a lot of sympathies for Meghan and Harry... I think a lot of people feel for what Meghan went through as a woman of colour... I also think there's a lot of people who feel like 'come on it's time to move on and talk about something else', not do a Netflix documentary if you value your privacy."
