Ai Weiwei: 'The sky is getting darker and darker'
The dissident Chinese artist, Ai Weiwei, is as well known for his political activism as for his art.
To mark Human Rights Day he signed blank pieces of A4 paper, like those held up by protesters recently in China, with invisible ink at Speakers鈥� Corner in Hyde Park, London.
His aim was to highlight human rights abuses in his homeland, and elsewhere, and to raise funds for the charity Refugees International.
The 65-year-old left China in 2015 following arrests, police beatings, and political and artistic censorship. He is a strong critic of China's government.
He spoke to Newshour about this latest art performance in Hyde Park:
"The strongest weapon against authoritarian is the individual's mind."
