A statement from Braintree District Council and Essex County Council said: "We have been made aware of an event being advertised as taking place at Great Notley Country Park titled ‘Enchanted Forest’ from 14th – 24th December 2022.

"Essex County Council, which runs the country park, has confirmed it has not been approached about a booking or given approval for the event, and as far as we know it is not planned to take place.

"We would encourage people who see it being promoted not to be tempted to book tickets or share any personal information."
