What should happen to the treasures in Britain's museums?

A new body has been set up in the UK to look into how the ancient Greek sculptures known as the Elgin Marbles might be returned to Greece.

They are named after the Scottish soldier and diplomat Lord Elgin who removed them from the Parthenon temple in Athens in the 19th century.

They are currently housed in the British Museum – but for years, Greece has lobbied to bring the sculptures home.

Chairing the new body is former Conservative minister Lord Vaizey who, over the years, has changed his position on the restitution of artefacts. What made him change his mind?
