Kabul blast: Hazara community speaks out

At least 35 people have been killed in a suicide bomb attack on a college in Kabul, a further 80 were injured, most of which were young women from the Hazara community.聽No group has claimed the attack, which happened on Friday 30 September.

Hundreds of students were taking tests in preparation for university entrance exams at the college, which is in west Kabul.

It's a predominantly Shia area and home to the minority Hazara community, which has been repeatedly targeted in attacks of this kind. Dozens of women from the Hazara community protested in Kabul, reportedly chanting "stop Hazara genocide".

Samim, a social activist and a member of the Hazara community, speaks about how the community is feeling and how yesterday he "attended at least six funerals of young girls who had dreams for the future".
