From fairway to jungle: Morgan Hoffmann's journey of discovery
US golfer Morgan Hoffmann was diagnosed with a form of Muscular Dystrophy, a condition that causes his muscles to weaken, back in 2017. Since then he has been on a journey of self discovery that has seen him make a home in the mountains of Costa Rica.
Hoffmann explains to Sportshour's Caroline Barker about what he has discovered and how he has adapted his lifestyle and diet in an attempt to manage his condition.
He now intends to open a retreat in order to help others. In the meantime the now 32-year old who recently played a number of tournaments, hasn't ruled out a return to professional golf too
