Sonic Landscapes of Colour 7 - racism
Somin Somatic continues his series about young people of colour growing up in the south west.
Somin is a sound artist living in Exeter.
He recorded interviews with nine young people.
They share their experiences of growing up locally, covering subjects such as identity, school, community, culture, alienation, belonging, racism and connection to local natural landscape.
The voices are underscored by a soundscape created by four non-western traditional instrumentalists - all based in the south west.
This project is called Sonic Landscapes of Colour.
