Duran Duran are to headline the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony, which is being held at Alexander Stadium in front of an audience more than 30,000, in their home town of Birmingham later this month.
The renowned new wave group will close out the line-up of acclaimed musicians, rising stars. and 15 local choirs at the event on Thursday July 28.
