Marburg virus: What we know about Ghana's first outbreak
Ghana has confirmed its first two cases of Marburg virus. Both patients died recently in hospital in the southern Ashanti region.
Ninety eight people who've been identified as close contacts are in quarantine. Everyone else has been told to avoid caves - as the virus can be spread by bats - and to ensure all meat is thoroughly cooked.
The Marburg virus is a highly infectious disease in the same family as the virus that causes Ebola. The most deadly outbreak was in Angola in 2005 when around 200 people died.
Dr Francis Kasolo, the World Health Organization's Ghana representative, told Newshour what we know so far about the cases in the country.
