World Cup 2022: 'Soccer gives us something to celebrate'
The World Cup finals are being held between 21 November and 18 December in Qatar. The tournament will be the first World Cup to take place in the Middle East, the first at that time of year and over a million fans are expected.
The final qualification games have been taking place this week.聽As well as being a stress test for the organisers in their preparations, it was also an opportunity for travelling fans to get a taste of life at a football tournament in the Middle East.
成人快手 sports reporter Alex Capstick is in Doha, speaking to fans about their hopes for the tournament. Despite concerns about how accommodation will be booked and some missing their alcohol, optimism is high, particularly amongst Costa Rica fans, who had just seen their team beat New Zealand 1-0.
