Here's the official briefing from National Highways - "To enable a temporary traffic switch at the Chybucca junction, a key part of the major Chiverton to Carland Cross upgrade, the A30 will be closed in both directions between the Chiverton Cross roundabout and Boxheater junction from 9pm on Friday, 20 May until 6am on Monday, 23 May. The closure will enable Costain, National Highways’ delivery partner, to install a temporary roundabout at the junction to maintain the flow of traffic ahead of construction of the new Chybucca interchange. The B3284 has been closed recently to realign the route for the new temporary roundabout at Chybucca junction and, ahead of the weekend closure, overnight closures will be in place between Chiverton Cross and the Boxheater junction from tonight (Monday, 16 May) to Friday, 20 May (8pm to 6am). During the weekend closure, eastbound traffic will be diverted via the A3075 at Chiverton Cross to Goonhavern and along the B3285 to rejoin the A30, and vice versa for westbound traffic."
