SuRie, who represented the UK in Eurovision 2018, says "something has shifted this year" ahead of Saturday night's Eurovision final.
Sam Ryder from Maldon is the UK's representative for 2022 and is one of the bookies' favourites.
SuRie, who was born in Harlow, says Sam and his team have built a "beautifully positive atmosphere" around him as he prepares to sing his song "Space Man" in the final in Turin.
