A wedding in wartime - "we will celebrate with the victory"
Defiant and determined - a Ukrainian couple say they will celebrate their marriage with family and friends when the war is over.
While the Russian invasion of Ukraine continues - and we hear more and more difficult headlines - people often have a remarkable capacity to strive for moments of hope even in the most challenging of circumstances. Meet Angelina Kariakina – a journalist in Kyiv. She's been engaged for some time to her fiancé Yuri – himself a policeman on the frontline of the resistance. And despite everything going on in their country - they decided to get married. No white wedding dress, no family and friends to share it with – instead, surrounded by sandbags, air raid sirens and a lot of uncertainty about the future.
