Tonga volcano: Health warnings over toxic ash and sulphur
Experts are trying to assess the impact of volcanic ash and toxic sulphuric gases in the air after a volcano erupted in Tonga. The eruption showered the Pacific islands with ash and triggered a tsunami.
People have been advised by the Ministry of Health to stay indoors, says local journalist Marian Tupu who has experienced trouble breathing since the eruption. She says: 鈥淒ust is everywhere鈥.
