Birmingham 2022: Commonwealth Games inspection
Important visitors in town this week - yes the bigwigs from the Commonwealth Games Federation are in Birmingham and Smethwick to check on the progress being made on key venues for Birmingham 2022.
Their first destination yesterday was the Alexander Stadium in Perry Barr - currently being transformed into a world-class venue for more than 40 thousand people.
