Tremaine Cornish: Fighting with Pride
This year's Remembrance Sunday is the first time LGBT+ veterans have been openly invited to take part in the march. Fighting With Pride is a charity ran by veterans.
It comes as the Ministry of Defence recently announced that LGBT+ veterans who were stripped of their medals due to their sexual orientation or gender identity are to have them returned in time for Remembrance Sunday.
We met Tremaine Cornish, who became an Army Chef in the 1970s and was later dismissed for being gay. He spoke of how proud he was to serve his country and that he鈥檇 be thinking of people who went before him.
