PM: Actions on Paterson case were 'certainly a mistake'
Sir Keir Starmer has called on the prime minister to apologise "for trying to give the green light to corruption".
Boris Johnson refused to apologise, but said it had been a mistake to wrap the case of Owen Paterson into an attempt to change the wider disciplinary process for MPs.
