'She was waiting 14 hours for an ambulance'
"It feels like the worst storm you've ever been in. And there's no sign of it stopping. "
The words of a Paramedic working for West Midlands Ambulance service about life on the frontline right now.
Lives are at risk because patients are facing unacceptably long waits for a 999 response, the College of Paramedics has told the 成人快手.
It comes after our story of an elderly Stourbridge woman who spent 14 and a half hours on a toilet floor waiting for an ambulance.
The 97-year-old dementia patient had a fall in her care home. Staff dialled 999 and made her as comfortable as possible but couldn't move her because of her medical needs.
Here her daughter-in-law describes how the day unfolded.
