The US opens its borders after 20-month entry ban
Airlines are hoping for a surge in bookings from people who want to travel to the United States.
The US has reopened its borders to double-jabbed foreign visitors, ending a 20-month entry ban. The ban has affected non-US citizens from over 30 countries, including the UK and EU states, separating families and stalling tourism. Airlines are expecting a flood of visitors as the restrictions are lifted for those who are fully vaccinated, and undergo testing and contact tracing.
Airlines in Europe are hoping for a surge in bookings from people who want to travel to the United States, as the country reopens its borders to foreign travellers, as long as they have been vaccinated against Covid 19.
Michael J Boyd, president of the Boyd Group, an aviation consultancy in Evergreen, Colorado, tells the 成人快手's Russell Padmore how the US airlines are getting their businesses back in flight.
"It's the beginning of a new air transportation system, particularly in the US. The system has evolved - less business travel, more leisure travel."
