"Even old people who couldn't get out were still sending money we could buy food with " - we take a trip to Wadebridge Foodbank
It's often the smallest things in life that can make the biggest difference.
That's the spirit that drives the volunteers at one Cornish charity, who are on hand to support people in the community with everything from finding school uniform to helping people in crisis kit out their homes.
Our weekend presenter Jack Murley has been to meet project manager Jacqui White to hear about how they kept going in the pandemic, the passion the volunteers have for helping others, and how they're preparing to make this Christmas a memorable one for people in some of Europe's most deprived countries.
