Gold medal winning Paralympian: ‘Blades helped me fly’
South African Paralympic sprinter Ntando Mahlangu spent the first 10 years of his life confined to a wheelchair, until he was fitted with prosthetic blades. Since then he has won national and international running races and set several world records. In fact, when he was just 14 years old he won a silver medal at the Rio Paralympics in the 200m T42 sprint. Now he is 19 and has just secured two gold medals at the Tokyo Paralympics.
